(Singer) – The legendary Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, is an Indian playback singer, prominent in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. KK sang 3,500 jingles before his Bollywood break. He got his Bollywood break with “Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil” from “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” (1999). He has also won the prestigious National Award for ‘Tu Aashiqui Hai’ from the movie “Jhankar Beats” in 2004. He has worked with leading music composers like Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik, Pritam Chakraborty, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and A. R. Rahman, . He has lent his voice to more than than 50 hit songs in Bollywood, the biggest hit recently being “Tune Maari Entriyaan” among several others in Gunday. KK’s new song from the movie “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” called “Tu Jo Mila” has already became all the rage and is ranked No.1 on iTunes.
