(Sufi Singer) – Shadab Faridi is a playback singer in the Hindi film industry who came into the limelight with the music reality show Music Ka Maha Muqqabla in 2009.He was born to the renowned Sufi musician Ustad Mehtab Faridi of Saharanpur Gharana on 10 July 1984. He has been a singer at AIR since the age of 11 and he has been trained in classical and Sufi music under Ustaad Rasheed Khan Sahib from Saharanpur.In Bollywood, he has sung songs like “Tu Hi Haqeeqat” (“Tum Mile”, 2009), “Sikkon Ki Bhook” (“Rann”, 2010), “Dil Mera Muft Ka” (“Agent Vinod”, 2012), “Bipasha” (“Jodi Breakers”, 2012) and “Fevicol Se” (“Dabangg 2”, 2012).
