Shilpa Shetty also known as Shilpa Shetty Kundra after her marriage, is an Indian film actress, producer and former model. Shetty’s debut release was Abbas-Mustan’s thriller “Baazigar”, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol . Shetty eventually received Best Supporting Actress and Lux New Face of the Year (now known as Best Female Debut) nominations at the annual Filmfare Awards ceremony. Her next release t was the action drama “Aag” in which she played her first leading role co-starring Govinda and Sonali Bendre. Shetty next starred alongside Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Raageshwari and Shakti Kapoor in the action comedy “Main Khiladi Tu Anari”. Other bollywood movies she has worked in are “Hathkadi”, “Insaaf”, “Auzaar”, “Pardesi babu” , “Lal baadshaah”, “Dhadkan”, “Indian”, “Garv”, “Rishtey”, “Om shanti om” , “Dostana”. She is the co-owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team “Rajasthan Royals”.
