(Music Composers/Singers) – Vishal–Shekhar is a music directing duo consisting of Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani who have worked in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Marathi films. The duo rose to prominence when they composed the score for the film “Jhankaar Beats” which included the song “Tu Aashiqui Hai”. Vishal Dadlani is also the vocalist of Mumbai-based electronic band Pentagram. Vishal & Shekhar have composed for many movies in Bollywood like “Rehna hain tere dil mein”, “Kaante”, “Plan”, “Dus”, “Salam namastey”, “Taxi no 9211”, “Golmaal”, “Tashan”, “Bhoothnath”, “Cash”, “Bachna ae haseeno”, “Rascals”, “Ra one”, “Tees mar khan”, “The dirty picture”, “Hasee toh phasee”, “Chennai express”, “Bang bang” and he is going to compose for upcoming movies like “Fan” and “Sultan”. They both have sung in movies like “Bluffmaster”, “Jhoom barabar jhoom”, “Tare zameen par”, “Dhoom2”, “Dostana”, “Kites”, “London dreams”, “Anjaana anjaani”, “Break ke baad”, “Patiala house”, “Ladies vs Ricky Bahl”, “Ishaqzaade”, “Yeh jawaani hain deewani”, “Chennai express”, “Humpty Sharma ki dhulaniya”, “Bajrangi bhaijaan”, “Hasee toh phasee”, “ABCD2” and more recently in “Neerja” as well.
